The Eastwood School group assembled at Whitestone Arts for a walk along the Brontë Way to the highest reach of the Worth Valley. In Spring the steep valley sides below Moor Lodge are transformed by flowering Rhodendrons, planted in the heyday of estate landscaping after their introduction from China by 19th century plant collectors.
As before, the group were encouraged to take photographs recording their experiences of what (after the rains) was a fairly adventurous outing. Selected images from the walks will be exhibited as part of ‘Ways to the stone house’ in September
