My extensive collection of UK landscapes concentrates on Yorkshire, the Lake District, the Northumberland coast and Scotland. I also cover the Norfolk coast, North Wales and Cotswolds. I have contributed landscape pictures to numerous books including my own regional guides Discovering West Yorkshire (Smith Settle 1999) and Pennine Landscapes (with Judith Warner, Dalesman 1978). Books illustrated include: The Brontës at Haworth (Frances Lincoln 2013/2006), An Enduring Flame (Smith Settle 1998), The Lake District (Aurora 1995), Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path (National Trail Guide 1992), The Best Views of Britain (Partridge Press 1989), Pennine Way North and Pennine Way South (National Trail Guides 1988). Clients include Natural England, National Trust, Environment Agency, Yorkshire Dales National Park and Screen Yorkshire. Editorial photography for magazines and publishers has included commissions for Sunday Telegraph Magazine, Country Life, Country Living and The Countryman.
