Armed with the Stanza Stones Poetry Trail guide, my Eastwood School group discovered the Backstone Beck stone on yesterday’s walk from the Cow & Calf Rocks – with a good deal of clambering. It was a magic moment to find it lurking in the middle of the stream.
We also managed to fit in riverside fish & chips and a visit to the Moor Views exhibition at Manor House Museum.
